Fantasy Football Dynasty Cheat Sheet - Running Backs

Here is a look at our dynasty fantasy football cheat sheet. Even though they follow the same rules, dynasty fantasy football leagues are much different than standard leagues because age becomes a concern. Running backs get old quick so it's even more important for them. Special thanks to Brag Fantasy Football for providing a lot of this data.

1. Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
2. LaDainian Tomlinson, San Diego Chargers
3. Brian Westbrook, Philadelphia Eagles
4. Steven Jackson, St. Louis Rams
5. Joseph Addai, Indianapolis Colts

Adrian Peterson was just a rookie last season so he is ranked #1. Tomlinson is probably the top back for 2008 but he is getting older, so he is second. The other three are pretty much a toss up, I would be fine with any of them ranked third.

6. Frank Gore, San Francisco 49ers
7. Marshawn Lynch, Buffalo Bills
8. Clinton Portis, Washington Redskins
9. Marion Barber, Dallas Cowboys
10. Larry Johnson, Kansas City Chiefs

Most people think Frank Gore had a down year but he still rushed for 1,100 yards. He is an ideal back to target out of our dynasty fantasy football league rankings because of his age. Marion Barber is a good choice too since he is still young. Gore will be more involved because he will be more involved in the passing game so he should be ranked higher on a ppr dynasty cheat sheet.

11. Ronnie Brown, Miami Dolphins
12. Reggie Bush, New Orleans Saints
13. Willis McGahee, Baltimore Ravens
14. Ryan Grant, Green Bay Packers
15. Brandon Jacobs, New York Giants
16. Laurence Maroney, New England Patriots
17. Edgerrin James, Arizona Cardinals
18. Jamal Lewis, Cleveland Browns
19. Willie Parker, Pittsburgh Steelers
20. Maurice Jones-Drew, Jacksonville Jaguars

Beware of Jamal Lewis and Edgerrin James. Both backs are getting up there in age and only have a year or two left before they fall off. Ryan Grant could be a good back but let's see how life without Favre treats him. In a couple years Maurice Jones-Drew could own the dynasty cheat sheet, this could be a good time to draft him.

21. Rudi Johnson, Cincinnati Bengals
22. Thomas Jones, New York Jets
23. Darren McFadden, Oakland Raiders
24. Jonathan Stewart, Carolina Panthers
25. Michael Turner, Atlanta Falcons
26. LenDale White, Tennessee Titans
27. Earnest Graham, Tampa Bay Bucs
28. Matt Forte, Chicago Bears
29. Fred Taylor, Jacksonville Jaguars
30. Kevin Smith, Detroit Lions

Rookies to keep an eye on include Darren McFadden, Jonathan Stewart and Rashard Mendenhall, who will all be quickly ascending up our dynasty cheat sheet next season. McFadden should also get a good amount of catches so he would be ranked very high if we had a dynasty ppr cheat sheet.
